Seung-Yul Noh is one of the most exciting young talents in golf. He is already the winner of four professional titles and the 2010 Asian Tour Order of Merit.
He first came to golfing prominence in 2005 when, at just 14 years of age, he won both the Korean Amateur and Korean Junior Amateur titles.
After turning professional in 2007, Seung-Yul qualified for the Asian Tour the following season and won the Midea China Classic on his way to claiming rookie-of-the-year honours.
The big breakthrough came in 2010 when he pipped countryman K.J. Choi for the Maybank Malaysian Open to become the second youngest ever winner on the European Tour. The triumph in the co-sanctioned event helped him become Asian Tour money list winner.
Seung-Yul earned his US PGA Tour card coming third at the 2011 Qualifying School and kept his playing credentials by finishing a highly commendable 48th in his rookie season.
He endured a character-building season the following year, eventually retaining his playing priviledges with victory at the Web.com Tour Finals event, the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship, in September.
The South Korean returned to his best form in 2014 and produced an unflappable display to claim his maiden PGA Tour title at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, triumphing by two shots on 19 under par.
He finished 42nd in the 2014 FedExCup standings.
