Biography
Dodge is a former Stanford captain and standout, who was ranked inside the world’s top 20 and America’s top ten as an amateur.
After winning the Canadian Tour Qualifying School, he is currently inside the top 20 and hopes to expand his golfing knowledge by playing in Europe.
Dodge was a highly decorated junior golfer growing up in Wichita, Kansas where he won two Kansas Junior Amateur Championships. Recruited by several college programmes including Northwestern, Princeton, Yale, and Harvard, he chose Stanford where he was co-captain of the golf team his senior year and a member of the 2007 National Championship and 2008 National Runner-up teams.
During his last full year as an amateur in 2009, Dodge finished T4 at the NCAA Southwest Regional, won the Scratch Players Championship by four, the U.S. Amateur qualifying by seven, made it to the round of 32 in the U.S. Amateur at Southern Hills, finished third at the USGA Team Championship, and recorded top 12 or higher finishes at the Players Amateur, the Dixie Amateur, and the Sahalee Players Championship.
In his inaugural season as a professional, Dodge earned full exemption on the Canadian Tour by winning the California Winter Qualifying School and currently is in the top 20 on the Canadian Tour money list. He also won 2 Nationwide qualifiers (3 for 8 overall) and recorded 6 other top 10’s in U.S and Canadian tournaments.
Dodge comes from an athletic family. His sister Callie is a first team All-Ivy honoree playing for the Yale women’s golf team. Dodge’s younger brother Riley is a 6’7” junior shooting guard in high school being recruited by several D1 basketball programs. In addition, Dodge’s grandfather, Howard Engleman, was a Consensus first team All-American basketball player for the heralded University of Kansas basketball program and his retired jersey hangs in Allen Field House with other KU greats.
Dodge lives in Mountain View, CA and when at home relaxing is part of a team conducting medical research at Stanford Medical School.
Kemmer won his first event in the UK when he claimed the Integral Collection Classic on the Europro Tour in September 2011.
