Chesson Hadley

Chesson Hadley is one of America’s most exciting golfers, having captured his maiden PGA Tour title at the Puerto Rico Open in March 2014 and being voted PGA Tour Rookie of the Year.

Chesson, from Raleigh, North Carolina, displayed the composure of a seasoned champion, finishing birdie, birdie to triumph by two shots before memorably celebrating with his wife Amanda and five-month-old son Hughes.

His achievement was made all the more impressive considering it was just his 13th start on the main tour, having earned his full playing rights for 2014 by finishing third on the Web.com Tour in 2013.

Chesson went on to finish 49th in the FedExCup standings in 2014.

The 2013 season included wins at the Rex Hospital Open, in his home town of Raleigh, and Tour Championship, while he also finished fifth at the Shriners Hospital for Children Open in October 2013.

The three-time All-American Georgia Tech, who first picked up a club at the age of six and was only 12 when he broke par for the first time, turned professional after graduating with a business management degree.

Chesson also enjoyed a glittering amateur career, highlighted by inclusion in America’s 2008 Palmer Cup team.
