Since 2012, ISM has been working alongside the Turkish Golf Federation to deliver events designed to make a huge impression on the global golfing world.
We were integral in developing the idea of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Final, which was contested by eight of the world’s leading golfers, including 14-time major champion, Tiger Woods, at Antalya Golf Club, Turkey.
Following the success of this project, we were also delighted to be involved in the planning and delivery of the inaugural Turkish Airlines Open in November 2013. Tiger Woods returned to Antalya – this time to the luxurious surroundings of the Montgomerie Maxx Royal – to compete in the first-ever European Tour sanctioned event to be held on Turkish Soil.
In total the Turkish Airlines Open was staged seven times until 2019 with winners including Brooks Koepka and Justin Rose.
The Turkish Airlines Open
Turkish Airlines Open also made worldwide headlines as part of Turkish Airlines’ sponsorship activation, which saw Woods become the first person to drive a ball from Europe to Asia, generating upwards of $32m in media coverage within 24 hours.
